BERRY DELICIOUS PUNCH

 

Ingredients:

 

2 quarts cranberry juice

6 ounces frozen lemonade

½ cup maraschino cherry juice

60 ounces Sprite or 7-Up

 

Directions:

 

  • Mix the ingredients and serve chilled with slices of lemon, limes or oranges.

BLUE PUNCH

 

Ingredients:

 

1 gallon water

½ cups sugar

11 – 6 oz. cans frozen lemonade

1 tsp. blue food coloring

¼ tsp. green food coloring

½ gallon pineapple sherbet

2 ½ - 2 liter bottles of 7-Up

 

Directions:

 

  • Place water and sugar in large sauce pan
  • Bring to a boil
  • When cool, add lemonade and food coloring
  • Mix till lemonade is dissolved
  • Pour into punch bowl
  • Just before serving, add sherbet and 7-Up, stir slightly to blend
  • May need to divide in half, depending on size of punch bowl

 

Serves approx. 65

DENA'S GREAT PUNCH

 

Ingredients:

 

2 cups sugar

6 cups boiling water

2 ½ cups orange juice

¼ cup lemon juice

4 cups unsweetened pineapple juice

2 – 10 ounce pkgs. frozen strawberries

 

Directions:

 

  • Dissolve sugar in boiling water
  • Add remaining ingredients
  • Pour into 4 one quart containers and freeze
  • Remove from freezer 1 hour before serving
  • Place in large punch bowl and break up
  • Add 7-Up and stir until slushy.

EGGNOG

 

Ingredients for 1 serving:

 

1 egg, well beaten

2 Tbs. sugar

1 cup milk

¼ tsp. vanilla

 

Directions:

 

  • Beat egg and sugar together
  • Beat in milk and vanilla
  • Serve cold in tall glass
  • May sprinkle lightly with nutmeg

FRESH FRUIT SMOOTHIE

 

Ingredients:

 

½ cup mango

½ cup cantaloupe

1 cup strawberries

(May use any combination of fruit, fresh or frozen, to equal 2 cups)

1 cup pineapple juice (or more to thin)

 

Directions:

 

  • Place all ingredients in a blender for 10 seconds or until smooth

 

Makes 2 servings

HOT APPLE CIDER DRINK

 

Ingredients:

 

1 quart apple cider

1 quart cranberry juice

3 or 4 whole cloves

2 sticks cinnamon

¼ cup brown sugar

 

Directions:

 

  • Place all ingredients in large saucepan
  • Heat over medium, stirring occasionally
  • When sugar is dissolved and liquid is hot, remove cloves and cinnamon sticks
  • Pour in mugs and garnish with a sprig of mint

 

Makes 2 quarts

PINK LEMONADE PUNCH

 

Ingredients:

 

4 cans frozen lemonade

8 cups cranberry juice cocktail

1 quart cold ginger ale

1 pint lemon sherbet

 

Directions:

 

  • Mix lemonade with water, as directed on can
  • Just before serving add cranberry juice cocktail and ginger ale
  • Pour over ice ring
  • Mix well
  • Float scoops of sherbet on top of punch

PINK PARTY PUNCH

 

Ingredients:

 

2 pkgs. strawberry Kool Aid

2 quarts water

1 can frozen lemon juice

1 can frozen orange juice

1 large can pineapple juice (not frozen)

1 cup sugar

1 bottle 7-Up

 

Directions:

 

  • Mix all ingredients, except 7-Up
  • Stir until sugar is dissolved and frozen juice is mixed in
  • Add 7-Up when ready to serve

 

Serves approx. 40

WASSAIL

 

Ingredients:

 

½ Tbs. whole cloves

½ Tbs. whole allspice

½ tsp. nutmeg

½ gallon apple cider

½ cup brown sugar

¼ cup lemon juice

½ cup orange juice

 

Directions:

 

  • Place cloves, allspice, and nutmeg in a small gauze bag and tie shut
  • Place the bag and all remaining ingredients in large saucepan
  • Bring to a boil
  • Remove bag and discard
  • Add liquor if desired
  • Serve hot

 

Makes 8 – 9 cups
